Overview
SdCam is a camera app that records photo and video to an SD card attached to your iPhone or iPad. This policy describes what the app and the website at sdcam.app do with information.
What we collect
The SdCam app does not create an account, and we do not operate a backend that receives your media or personal information.
- Camera and microphone. Used on device to capture photo, video, and audio. Media is written to the SD card (or folder) you choose. We never receive those files.
- SD card / files. You grant access through the system document picker so the app can read and write on the card. Files stay on that card unless you move them.
- Website logs. Our host (Vercel) may log standard request data such as IP address, browser, and pages visited when you use sdcam.app. We do not use that for advertising.
The app does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not use App Tracking Transparency identifiers.
How we use information
Camera and microphone access exist only so you can shoot and record. Card access exists only so files can be saved, browsed, trimmed, and exported on device. Hosting logs are used to run and debug the website.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your photos or videos with anyone — we do not have them. Website hosting may process request logs as part of providing the site.
Retention and deletion
Media lives on your card and device. Delete files there (or in the app library) to remove them. We have no copy. Website logs follow our host's retention defaults.
Children
SdCam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can deny camera or microphone permission in iOS Settings. Without them, recording will not work. You can stop using the app and delete it at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
